As part of the Adapt and Grow, the PCP is developed by the Workforce Singapore (WSG) to help mid-career PMETs re-skill with the necessary competencies to embark on a career in their respective industry. There are currently over 50 PCPs across more than 20 sectors including Information and Communications Technology, Healthcare, Logistics and many more.
Furthermore, PMETs who are keen to embark on a career switch do not necessarily have to join a new sector but can participate in PCPs that move them into new job roles within the same sector.
- Assist mid-career PMETs to take on new jobs and pursue new careers
- Address employers’ manpower needs by facilitating recruitment of mid-career PMETs
- Leverage industry-recognised training or customised employer training for new PCP hires
- Receive substantial Government support through Course Fee grant and Salary Support/Training Allowance for PMETs
Place-and-Train: PMET is hired by a participating employer before undergoing training to take on new job role.
Attach-and-Train: PMET is provided with training and work attachments, in advance of job placement, through industry partners in growth sectors with good future job opportunities.
